Warranty & Returns

RETURNS & REFUNDS

All return requests must be made by emailing orders@taysideironmongery.co.uk.

Please include:
• Your order number
• Reason for return
• Clear photographic evidence where goods are damaged, faulty, or incorrect

Damaged Goods

Any goods delivered damaged must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Incorrect or Missing Items

Incorrect or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

Faulty Goods

Faulty goods will be dealt with in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where applicable, goods may be repaired, replaced, or refunded.

Power tools and certain specialist products may require inspection or assessment by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.

GUARANTEES & WARRANTIES

Hand Tools

Hand tools are supplied with a minimum 12‑month warranty against manufacturing defects, provided they are used correctly.

Power Tools

Power tools are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty and must be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty procedures.

TRADE & PROFESSIONAL USE

Where goods are supplied for trade, business, or professional use, consumer cancellation rights do not apply, and warranties are limited to those provided by the manufacturer.

WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS

By placing an order, you consent to communicate with us by electronic means. This does not affect your statutory rights.

NOTICES

Notices to us must be sent to our registered or trading address or by email to orders@taysideironmongery.co.uk. Notices to you will be sent to the contact details provided when placing an order.

TRANSFER OF RIGHTS

You may not transfer your rights under this contract without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations at any time.

FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supplier failure, transport disruption, industrial action, or government restrictions.

WAIVER

Failure by us to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any contracts formed under them are governed by the laws of Scotland, and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied, except where liability cannot be excluded by law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
